Dalia Ðatkovskienë

Assoc. prof. Dr. Dalia Ðatkovskienë is a physicist.
She graduated from Moscow State
University and is an
internationally known specialist in the field of quantum mechanics of molecules.
Prof. D.
Ðatkovskienë has more than 100 scientific publications in international journals
and the author of three textbooks in theoretical physics, participated in many
international conferences and congresses. She is a member of national and
international professional associations and societies such as European Physical
Society, WATOC and others. D. Ðatkovskienë is an expert evaluator of FP6-MCRTN and MCEF programs.
She turned into
the women in science activity after the IUPAP International Conference on Women
in Physics (Paris, 2002) where she represented women
physicists of Lithuanian Universities. Since 2002 D. Ðatkovskienë is
involved into national “Women in physics” and
international IUPAP networks. She published some articles on women in
physics in Lithuania, had
talks for public in mass media and plenary lecture for scientists at National
conference on Physics (Vilnius, 2003). In September 2004 prof. Ðatkovskienë
represented the Lithuanian women scientists in ENWISE valorization conference
hold in Tallinn (Estonia), had talks at Follow up ENWISE meeting
in Tallinn (2005) and Helsinki group Meeting in Luxembourg (2005), and participated at 2nd IUPAP
conference in Rio de
Janeiro (2005).
